From the "Wonder where the money went?" file.

Another clue from the New York Times
The final figures show that the median pay for top executives at 200 big companies last year was $10.8 million. That works out to a 23 percent gain from 2009.
These are the people who can't handle a tax hike?

One also has to wonder when some of those people making those incomes are going to "reinvest in the American economy" as the saying goes.

Instead, what we see is investments in things such as gold, silver and collectibles. For an example of how out-of-control and ridiculous that's become consider this: a 1960s Volkswagen 23 window "Samba" microbus recently sold for $217,000 at an auction in Orange County, California; conducted by Barrett-Jackson auctions (Sources: Sports Car Market and AutoWeek, electronic newsletters).

Orange County used to be known as the center for the Republican party in America. Could that sale of the VW microbus be more than a mere coincidence?
