The people have spoken...

Who are you rooting for in the Super Bowl: the Green Bay Packers or the Pittsburgh Steelers?
Packers 43
Steelers 27
Kos is in the minority. Bears fan. Bitter. I get it.

But the Steelers represent everything that's wrong with the game.

Have since '05.

And, yes, I'm a Seahawks fan and I'm bitter.

Let's go Green Bay!

As a leftist, I like the Packers because they are the one professional sports franchise in North America which is owned (more or less) by its fans, and will never ever leave for another city because it makes some billionaire a few more dollars..

I too, think that what makes the Green Bay Packers neat - other than the fact that they can play football, really well, is the fact that the people of Green Bay are literally partners; in what constitutes a business endeavor. But hey, I never thought you had to be coming from the left to dig that. As Theodore Roosevelt first devined, monopolies are really the enemies not only of ordinary people, but of capitalism itself.

TR was also a big fan of football. Methinks he'd dig Green Bay, too; for both reasons: good players and sharing the opportunity to make money. He'd also probably detest, and if he was still president, bellow long and hard against the proposed plan of the NFL to "lock out" players who won't take what those billionaire owners are going to be offering them in the coming season.
