Dave Reichert recently claimed, at a meeting with some voters, that he didn't know what the Glass Steagall Act concerned; nor that it had been repealed in 1999; and more recently, that Senators Cantwell and McCain worked to bring it back into effect.
So, he is either incredibly ignorant of economic matters, and what goes on in Congress, or perhaps getting early stage Alzenheimer's or dementia. It's probably just the former two things.
