Worth repeating.

Gabriel Winant at Salon...
Libertarianism itself is what's stupid here, not just Paul.
Rinse, etc....

Juvenile is a more accurate way to describe Libertarianism than calling it stupid. But give the devil his due. The Libertarians were the only ones who had enough intelligence to know the invasion of Iraq was a mistake from the get-go.

Neither Democratic senator from Wasington state could figure that one out. And while Congressman Jim McDermott seemed to know the invasion was a bad idea, his calling the late Sadaam Hussein someone we "could do business with" took it a step too far.

The fact that both Congressman Ron Paul and Congressman McDermott were doctors in the military, made both of them appreciate the consequences of a potential war, much more than most members of Congress.
