So much material is now being handed to you: Tea Parties, all over the place, immigration rallies - pro and con. Even Newt Gingrich is back in the limelight (getting ready for 2012 perhaps).

Maybe you could get a gig writing a column for one of the neighborhood papers? The way those papers are, these days, it wouldn't pay a cent; but it would give you an audience of people who think and vote.

Besides, a column for a paper entails a lot less technological hurdles to jump than blogging. I now know this, first hand. Of course, blogging is more satisfying since it is quicker to publish, and you don't have to convince an editor of the validity of a concept for a piece. The older I get, the more I disdain editors. Probably because almost all of them are now 25 years younger than me (if not more).
