I, too, own "Cookin' Cajun," the 1996 album from which you chose "Fais Do Do." If the two of us put our minds to it, I'll bet we could find the other five people who bought it. Perhaps the seven of us could have an annual convention?

There are 6 cuts on that album I like better than the one you chose and none of them would make my Top 10.

Belatedly, I offer up "10 Million Slaves" by Otis Taylor, as an addition to this list. Good music and sparse yet powerful lyrics that grab you by the throat and won't let go.
