WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President George W. Bush acknowledged on Monday he ordered the declassification of parts of a prewar intelligence report on Iraq to respond to critics who alleged he manipulated intelligence to justify the war.

See, if you declassify the report, well, then it's not really 'intelligence' anymore, right? So you can manipulate it any way you want and you haven't actually "manipulated intelligence," right?

Something like that, anyway. I mean, who can really understand how those people think.

Damn. This would be so much easier if he would just one time tell the goddamn truth.
