An endorsement that makes a difference...

...comes from Iowa Agriculture Secretary Patty Judge, who joins joins First Lady Christie Vilsack, Attorney General Tom Miller and 27 state legislators on the list of Iowa's political leaders who will caucus, and encourage their supporters to caucus, for John Kerry.

Before becoming the second statewide elected official to endorse John Kerry, Judge did her homework and found the best candidate to support the people she works for - Iowa's farm community. And what did she find?

“John Kerry has been fighting for farmers long before he began running for President. When we were fighting for a better farm bill, John Kerry joined that fight. When we were fighting for fair markets through legislation that would prohibit packer ownership of livestock, John Kerry was there. He supports country of origin labeling, which gives consumers the information they need to make certain the food they feed their families is safe,”

“Senator Kerry has the vision to invest in alternative fuels like ethanol, bio diesel, biomass, wind, and solar energy which will create thousands of new jobs across Iowa, and at the same time make us less reliant on foreign oil. John Kerry shares our belief in the importance of protecting the soil, the water and the air while we produce food for the nation’s dinner table. With a vision of a fair market place for family farmers, of new jobs based on renewable energy, and of a safe clean environment for our families, John Kerry has proven to me that he is the ‘REAL DEAL.’ I am very proud to endorse his candidacy for President of the United States.”

Welcome aboard the Real Deal Express, Secretary Judge.

Gettin' lonely out there, Tom?
