The PI.com said you had to prove it - uniform or something else. I gave the kid at a window for the Lake City Dick's, a copy of my DD-214. He just laughed and said, "You don't have to prove it" as I ordered a cheeseburger with fries.<br /><br />He'd probably never seen a DD-214.
