I'm still here...

...though more in spirit than fact. Life largely offline has its attractions, actually, but they're beginning to fade. A solution to my computer-fu looms.

Meanwhile, a review of the news reveals, just as I suspected, that we're still right and they're still wrong.

Go figure.

Glad you've not given up. Computer upgrades can sometimes be so expensive, the few shops that still fix computers, will just suggest a new one. That's what happened to me, last time I went to Uptime Technologies in the Wallingford district of Seattle; and was the main reason I quit going there, after years of good service. To remedy a virus, a friend wiped my hard drive and reinstalled Windows X/P; running with Avast! now seems to knock back most viruses and catch others as they come. Thing is, I never click on links sent to me by "friends" I don't know.

But for what it's worth, here's a link to my blog, getting more hits and in the midst of trying to work with Cobalt Group in Seattle:
http://www.automatter.typepad.com/my_blog/ Hope that works (done from memory). If not, Google can connect interested parties, too.

Blogging isn't quite like journalism. Too many sites rely too much on just posting videos. There's not a lot of thought in those sites.

That's what I like about this site. It's about words and ideas, with photos or charts working in conjunction with them.

Hope you can keep going, Shaun.
