Missing Persons - Walking in LA
I hear a lotta people go missing when they walk in LA...
There's a line in "Walking in LA" that actually references the "freeway strangler" or whatever they called that guy; saying that a person walking could be that.
But I agree with you. More likely anyone walking down there, would get hit.
I myself lived in LA, for about two years, circa fall of '68 through spring of '70 (went to school there, for that time). I left, in part, because it was tough bumming rides with fellow students. Once, I took the bus out to Santa Monica, just to see it the ocean there.
But it's really a city where you need either a car, truck or a two-wheeled motorized conveyance. Although having a motorcycle in the city, these days, is akin to a dance with death - too many cell phone users or texting fools.
