Given what has happened to Detroit, one has to wonder if America will ever be the country it was. Couple that with what has happened, and continues to, regarding the U.S. dollar and the odds aren't good.
Still if enough workers that made cars and trucks or steel can be turned loose making wind-powered generators, electric vehicles and other elements of a new economy, and we might have some future left.
